Max Greenwood took down the prestigious $1000+rebuy No Limit Holdem event at the 2008 World Series of Poker for close to $700,000, earning his first WSOP bracelet. Greenwood bested a final table that included online poker powerhouse Scott Freeman. Also making appearances at this final table were Alex Bolotin and Curt Kohlberg, both big players in World Poker Tour events.

Greenwood bested a field of 879 for his title, topping Rene Mouritsen in just 33 hands of heads up play. Here are the official results:
