For the second straight week, Katy Perry’s smash hit single “I kissed a girl” stands at the top of the Billboard hot 100.  However, her status at the top of the pack may be in some peril as those pesky Jonas Brothers and their hit “Burnin Up”, debuted at #5.  

This debut marks the second highest by any artist this decade, trailing only Fall Out Boy’s “This aint a scene, its an arms race”, which debuted at #2.  I say good for you Jonas Brothers, you may be 8 years old and brutally irritiating, but at least you aren’t inventing fictional lesbian encounters to push your records.  Besides, any band that can spawn this kind of hatred from angsty teens must be respected!!
