Forget Ozzfest, the biggest metal tour of the summer was the Masters of Metal Tour. Anytime you can pit together Judas Priest and Motorhead, you are doing well.  Add in a dash of old-school thrashers Testament and supergroup Heaven and Hell (which features Black Sabbath bandmates Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler along with former members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice), and you got one hell of a tour.

Unfortunately, the bands just concluded the tour on August 31, which means your probably missed it. Then again, so did I.  I guess i’ll have to get my metal fix some other way, like at Rock n Shock in Worcester, MA. Anywho, check out these sweet pictures courtesy of Metalsucks.net.
