Last week T.I. jumped a record 70 spots to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with his single “Whatever You Like.” This week, the rapper held steady at #1 thanks to download sales of more than 176,000 units, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The popular rapper held off Rihanna’s “Disturbia,” which held at #2, while Pink’s “So What” jumped from the 9th spot to 3rd. Katy Perry finally took a hit, falling from #4 to #10. Hopefully soon she will fall off the face of the earth…
In the world of rock, Staind got its 3rd #1 single with “Believe,” while Theory of a Deadman fared well with “Bad Girlfriend” and AC/DC had the highest debut, starting at #15 with “Rock n’ Roll Train.” Despite boasting the top album on the Billboard 200, Slipknot did not come in with a top 50 single.
