Plant Says No to Growing Rumors of Zeppelin Reunion

Robert Plant has put his foot down and he will not be picking it up again anytime soon to go on tour or record with Led Zeppelin. Recent reports that Plant was to join the band for a 2009 tour and recording session were apparently greatly exaggerated, as the frontman insists that he has no intention of touring with anybody for at least the next two years.
Plant made the announcement through his website at a time when rumors that the band would build upon its one-off reunion in London last December were rampant. The rumors are for good reason however as Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham have been rehearsing together and mulling over vocalists to replace Plant on tour if he opted not to participate.
“It’s both frustrating and ridiculous for this story to continue to rear its head when all the musicians that surround the story are keen to get on with their individual projects and move forward,” Plant said.
“I wish Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham nothing but success with any future projects,” he added.
