June 23, 2008 - No Comments Sebastian Ruthenberg took down the $5000 Seven Card Stud event at the 2008 World Series of Poker earlier this week, besting a final table filled with some of poker’s royalty. The final table included Chris Ferguson, Annie Duke, Steve Sung, and Marcel Luske. Grant Hinkle Wins $1500 NLHE Bracelet
June 5, 2008 - No Comments Grant Hinkle took down the first $1500 event at the 2008 World Series of Poker for $831,462; one of the largest payouts for a preliminary event in WSOP history. The event began with 3924 people, and Hinkle was the last man standing. Notable Josh Engerdahl finished in 13th place for just over $41,000 after playing some of the best poker of his life. Chris Ferguson Wins NBC Heads Up Title
March 3, 2008 - No Comments Tournament force Chris Ferguson defeated Andy Bloch in a fierce heads up battle to win the 2008 NBC Heads Up Poker Championship and $500,000. Bloch earned $250,000 for his runner-up finish. Taking 3rd and 4th were Huck Seed and Phil Ivey, pocketing $125,000 apiece.
